Arrive Delhi, After completing immigration and custom formalities, meet our representative at the arrival  gate. After introductions, you will be transferred to the hotel.

DELHI, the capital of India, is home to 16 million people, making it the third largest city in India. The strategic location of the city made it an attractive location for invading armies, and it served as the capital for many great empires that ruled India. Many of these Empires built significant monuments, and whilst the Mughal and the British are the most visible, while driving through the city you will see ruins from previous capitals, the earliest dating back to the 12th century.

Today, you will begin your Tour from Old Delhi: with a visit to Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. He is also famously known as the “father of the nation”. Continue your tour to Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. People stream in and out of the mosque continuously and the presence of a nearby bazaar means that the area is rarely quiet. Enjoy the rickshaw ride at Old Delhi peddling through the narrow by lanes of Chandani Chowk and visit spices market is one of the largest wholesale spice markets in Asia, It is well worth a visit for the intensity of its sights and smells alone. Along with fresh spices of all shapes, sizes, and colors, this market sells myriad nuts, herbs, dry fruits, and grains.

In the afternoon visit the Qutb Minar complex which dominates the historic site where Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak laid the foundation of Delhi Sultanate. Its sandstone minaret, 72.5 m high, has a staircase of 379 steps to reach the summit. It is the tallest stone tower in India and one of the most successful Muslim buildings. You will then discover the Humayun Mausoleum, the 2nd Mughal emperor. Built in the middle of the 16th century at the request of Hamida Banu Begum (the widow of Emperor Humayun), the mausoleum is a fine example of early Mughal architecture.

Drive past British Architect by Edward Lutyens, with the task of building the new capital in Delhi. Lutyen’s Delhi primarily consists of the administrative area of the capital, India Gate and the Viceroy’s House (which is now known as Rashtrapati Bhawan). A visit to Delhi is incomplete without going to Lutyen’s Delhi which one can say, is the place where the Central Government of India currently resides and works from.

Today, you will travel by surface to Agra. Famed with one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Taj Mahal, historical monuments, architectural grandeur ventures and the beauty of marbles. The city is known for its superb inlay work on marble by craftsmen supposedly with a lineage dating back to the Mughals. Agra’s handicrafts also include carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.Upon arrival check in to the hotel.

In the afternoon visit The Agra Fort is one of the most important and robustly built strongholds of the Mughals, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture.Also visit a marble-inlay workshop to see the intricate work and unique skill which goes into each finely detailed piece of marble inlay, using a number of beautiful semi-precious stones.

Visit to Taj Mahal at sunset. The Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World that symbolizes the love of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal’s final resting place. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. The white marble building changes its hue with the variations in the daylight. In moonlight, particularly on the full moon night, the marble appears extraordinarily luminescent.

Day 04 :                                                                                Agra – Fatehpur Sikri –Jaipur by surface [240 Kms. ± 5 Hrs]

Today, travel by surface to Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri-Built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the mid-16th century, Fatehpur Sikri was meant to be a new capital for his empire. It was also the emperor’s homage to Saint Sheikh Salim Chishti, who predicted the birth of the emperor’s much-desired son and heir. Built in almost uniform style, Sikri is a sprawling complex of palaces, mosques, temples, and other structures. It is a stunning amalgamation of the Persian and Indian styles of building.

Later continue your drive for Jaipur.-Adorned with pink sandstone palaces, majestic forts and verdant green gardens against a scenic backdrop of the Aravalli hills, Jaipur represents the charm of India’s rich past and the sophistication of a flourishing metropolis. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded the city in 1727, when he decided to shift his capital from Amer. A renowned architect, astronomer, and avid scientist, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built his capital with geometric precision and made Jaipur one of the most well-planned cities in India. Upon arrival in Jaipur, transfer to hotel.

              Afternoon embarks on your Cycle Rickshaw ride- This tour is planned to offer you an insight on the socio economic aspects of the city. Every lane in the walled city has something interesting to offer and the relaxed Rickshaw ride is the best way to explore the city like the locals do.

Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting Amber Fort with Elephant Ride

Visit the city of Amber and its fort. Erected on a vast hill, the citadel and its fort were intended to protect the ancient capital of the state of Jaipur.  You will get there on the back of an elephant, then you will come back in a jeep. You will be able to visit the various rooms, the inner courtyards, the rooms of public hearings, the Mughal gardens with its star-shaped flower beds. In addition, Amber Fort offers panoramic views of Lake Maota. On the way back you will stop at the Hawa Mahal - the famous and magnificent Palace of the Winds. 

Later, proceed to visit City Palace is one of the major landmarks in Jaipur. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. In the Palace complex visit Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum.

Visit to Observatory or Jantar Mantar. It is an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century.Whose passion for science, engineering, and astronomy prompted him to construct this complex of fourteen scientific instruments. It’s been over 200 years since they were first constructed, these fourteen structures can still accurately measure time; predict eclipses, and track stars and planets in their orbits.

Today, early breakfast, drive to Delhi airport to board flight for Colombo. Upon arrival at Colombo capital of Sri Lanka, after completing immigration and custom formalities, Meet with the local guide or représentative and transfer to Negombo and check in at hotel.

Morning visit Negombo-visiting Fishing village, thousands of fisherman who actively take part in fishing on a daily basis, dried & preserved using indigenous technologies. Dutch Canal Boat Ride, It is used to serve as a supply to the Dutch administration along with the Old Churches and fishing villages during the Dutch rule and. Walk to the local market .

Drive to Anuradhapura, enroute stop at Chilwa - Munneswaram Temple - Munneswaram Temple is thePlace where the King Rama prayed to Shiva after committing the worst crime named as Brahmahasti. God Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised him to install and praying four lingams at 5 places to get rid of dosham. And visit Manavari Temple -  is the first place where Lord Rama installed and prayed the Siva lingam.  At present this lingam at Manavari temple is named as Ramalingam as this lingam was erected by Rama. Today, morning visit Anuradhapura. The greatest city in Sri Lankan history, packed with monuments from over a thousand years of the island’s past. Visit the ancient capital of the Kingdom in the 4th century: Anuradhapura. Abandoned in the 10th century, this city was rediscovered in 1817. Visit temples, stupas, palaces and The sacred Sri Maha Bodhi 

Drive to Dambulla, arrive enroute visit Mihintale is where Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka.  Mihintale is regarded as the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The rock is riddled with shrines and rock dwellings. A grand stairway of 1,840 steps made out of granite slabs 15'' wide leads to the summit from where one could get a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.  Upon arrival check in at hotel.

Moring: excursion to Polonnaruwa & visit another “World Heritage Site”, the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th - 13th Centuries. Lankatilake, Tivanka and Thuparama are the most beautiful and largest Image Houses and Tivanka has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period. RankothVehera and Kirivehera are well preserved large stupas, and Gal Vihare - a rock shrine, has four Buddha statues. The Parakrama Samudra is on the western side of the city. The Royal Palace, Audience Hall and other buildings in the inner city were enclosed by another tall wall.

Afternoon climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress - a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock. The Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves within the enclosed area should not be missed.

Today, travel by surface to Kandy, en route visiting the Dambulla Rock temple situated in a cave and view the painted walls and ceilings comprising of over 150 images of the Buddha. 

En route visit Spice and Herbal garden in Matale, to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. A processing and training unit has been set up in the area and farmers are grouped in a cooperative to ensure fair prices and you will also be able to purchase spices.

Option:Enjoy the full flavors of Sri Lankan spices over lunch followd by an Ayurveda massage based on natural products from the garden.

Also visit Batik Factory - where you can see the manufacture of beautiful Batik prints. These shops contain a wide variety of Batik items.Arrive Kandy & check in at hotel.

Afternoon visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri DaladaMaligawa) is a highlight in Kandy, Observing the people praying, making small gifts of flowers, lighting a candle for their wishes to become true… The temple itself is very well preserved and offers so many artistic details for curious eyes.

Then visit the authentic market is Kandy's oldest market square and sells a wide range of items ranging from local fruits and vegetables to handicrafts and souvenirs to high quality textiles and leather goods. Visit Arts and Crafts Center, gem museum where you will learn about the gem industry & see a mock-up of a gem pit where you get the hang of traditional gem mining,

Evening witness a Cultural show featuring various dance types of Sri Lanka

After breakfast, travel by surface to Nuwara Eliya, en route visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens Royal Botanical Gardens - 147 acres in extent: started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the King’s of Kandy. There are more than 5000 species of tree and plants. Some and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world. Spice garden and Orchid House are popular with Tourists.

Thereafter Leave to Nuwara EliyaEn route visiting Tea Plantation & Tea Factory

Experience an authentic tea plucking experience with the estate workers and enjoy a guided visit to Tea Factory where the best tea in the world is produced.  You may also have a chance of tasting pure cup of Ceylon Tea at the Factory.where you will meet some tea pluckers and get to know about their lives and you will learn how to pick out the best tea leaves and pluck tea from the natives who have been doing it for many generations. 

On the way visit the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls makes Nuwara Eliya one of the most beautiful town in the world. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. You can visit the Strawberry Farms & pick some strawberries.Arrive & check in at hotel.

You can take a nice evening walk around the Gregory Lake. Visit the beautiful club house and British colonial style bungalows.

Today, transfer to NanuOya Railway station to board train to Ella . Upon arrival meet and drive to Yala National Park.

Yala National Park offers the greatest diversity of animal and birdlife in the country. The habitats found in the park are wide-ranging, from freshwater lakes to beaches, rocky outcrops to green plains and jungle.

Today, Participate in morning jeep safari at Yala National Park- Park is approximately 1,259 sq. kms in extent and is the largest national park in Sri Lanka.  It is located in the south eastern corner of the island and it has the added bonus of a scenic ocean frontage. The park is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer and crocodiles.  Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here.

Today, transfer by surface to Colombo,En-route visit Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda “Kosgoda is famous for its turtle hatchery- operated by the Wild Life Protection Society of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1981 to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction.

Arrival Colombo& take a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.

Shopping- visit Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, cashew nut shop, ready made garments and all sorts at Majestic City. Visit the Lanka Ceramics Centre, a place where you can buy “NORITAKE SET” or other ceramic items, visit the ‘ODEL SHOP’  at Lipton Place.
