The northeastern part of India is flourished with natural wonders and amazing wildlife. Exploring Green mountains, blue sky, dramatic waterfalls and amazing wildlife is a part of the northeast tour. Explore the Buddhist monasteries and tribal culture of Arunachal Pradesh and embark on exciting jungle safari activities at the Nameri national park. Tawang Monastery- the most famous Buddhist institution of the region and a Buddhist power place, second to only Potala Palace of Lhasa. We will visit centuries-old tribal villages of Drirang and Monpa, that still retain their old stone-made houses; people wear colorful costumes and most importantly, they are welcoming. This 13-days nature and Monastic Tour will take you to some of the charming places like Guwahati, Tawang, Nemri National Park and more. Apart from enjoying the beautiful scenery, you will visit the magical monastery and Gompa in Tawang and Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh. While being in Arunachal Pradesh enjoy exploring nature, wildlife, adventure and religion in its serene atmosphere.

Upon arrival in Kolkata, you will be welcomed by our representative and escorted to your hotel.
Early morning proceed to Malik Ghat Flower Market is India's biggest flower market more than 130 years old, this market lies beneath the eastern end of the Howrah Bridge. By using a railway overbridge, visitors can reach this market. The boisterous sounds and frenzied energy of Kolkata city are most colorfully and fragrantly evident at Malik Ghat Flower Market. Back to the hotel for breakfast.
Moring explore the city of Joy. You will visit the Victoria Memorial. Built between 1906 and 1921, Victoria Memorial is a huge marble building signifying commemoration of Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee. Architecture has a huge influence on both English and Mughal culture. The statues of King George V facing his wife, Mary; the soaring central chamber remains in the hallway are very imposing.
Indian Museum -It is the largest museum across India and boasts exquisite collections of armor, antiques, ornaments, skeleton, fossils, mummies and beautiful Mughal paintings.
Dalhousie Square: Renamed Binoy Badal Dinesh Bagh (also BBD Bagh), Dalhousie Square is the hub of West Bengal/’s administration and commerce. This is the site of all the important government institutions of the state. This is the place that houses the now-famous Writer/’s Building (clerks were known as writers in British India) and the old Fort William.
In the afternoon, you will visit Kali Temple- Goddess Kali is worshiped as the Mother Goddess in the city- the most prominent and popular being the Kalighat Temple. It is said that the city of Kolkata has derived its name from this temple.
Visit Mother Teresa’s home features a huge Mother Teresa’s sober tomb. The museum displays the sandals used to be worn by her and the battered enamel dinner bowl. On the floor above is the room where she used to sleep and work. The room has been well preserved in all its simplicity with her bed.

Enjoy the city of Joy in a Tram Ride -Started in 1902 tram system runs only in Kolkata in the whole country. It’s one of those distinct features that offer a very special look to Kolkata, unlike other metros.

In time, transfer to airport to board flight for Guwahati.
Upon arrival, you will meet our representative and transfer to Hotel.
Proceed to visit Sualkuchi village situated 32 km away from Guwahati. The village is famous for its Golden Muga Silk. Assam is famous for producing three unique varieties of silks, the Golden Muga, the White Pat and the warm Eri. Silk is grown all over the state finally finds its way to Sualkuchi. After the visit set off to enjoy a sightseeing tour of Guwahati. The major tourist attractions to visit in Guwahati include Kamakhya temple- the Kamakhya temple is one of the 51 shrines Shakti Peethas in the country. designed with simple yet elegant carvings which are beautifully decorated with colorful flowers., Assam State Museum - it showcases local history and culture through its unique exhibits. There are different galleries inside, such as iconography, archaeology and epigraphy, to name a few. There are sculptures, tribal artworks and fabrics placed as exhibits inside the museum.
Today, drive to Bomdila. En route Bhalukpung -the gateway town to Arunachal Pradesh, on the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. We complete entry formalities and continue our journey to Bomdila, enjoying the natural beauty of the region. Driving for 20 minutes through curly roads overlooking the dancing 'Bhoroli' river we arrive at Tipi, where lies the Orchidarium, a glass house having 7500 orchids. After Tipi, the road climbs sharply to get to Bomdila. Upon arrival, check-in hotel
Later visit Bomdila Monastery- This Monastery is not only appearing as a replica of the Tsona Gontse Monastery but also houses Buddhist lamas and monks. Sessa Orchid Sanctuary- The famous sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh is home to about two hundred exotic orchid species. It also houses many animals like goral, red panda, crows, and pheasant and so highly advised to visit this sanctuary during day time. Apple Orchards- a fantastic view of full blooming apple trees and is one of the most highly recommended places to visit in Bomdila during winter when apple orchards are at their most favorable in production.

Today take a scenic drive to Tezpur, Tezpur, situated at the north bank of river Brahmaputra in Assam, is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and outstanding archaeological ruins. Flourishing green valley surrounded by hills of Arunachal Pradesh, with snow-covered peaks of Himalaya as the northern backdrop, lavish tea gardens and magnificent archeological ruins have all contributed to make Tezpur Assam a tourist's delight. Arrive and check-in at Hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the hillock of Agnigarh overlooking the Brahmaputra River, archaeological remains of Bamuni Hill, famous for beautiful carvings, in Cole Park, and the ancient temple of Mahabhairab- This ancient shrine established by king Bana contributes to Tezpur's glory and magnetic charm. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple houses one of the largest Shiva Lingams in the world. Originally built of stone, the temple underwent renovation and the present structure displays extensive work of concrete.
Time permitting, we can also visit the tea estates set up by the British where we can learn about the tea-making process. The Monabarie tea estate was once said to be the largest tea estate in the area.
Early morning visit Upper Gompa and the Lower Gompa. -You can visit this attraction to admire the magnificent Tibetan architecture and big prayer halls available in this Gompa.
After breakfast, drive to Tawang, en-route visit the blessed land of Monpa's. We drive through centuries-old Dirang Basti a 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village, still retaining its old stone-made houses and its colorful inhabitants with warmth in their hearts, Dirang town overlooking the fast-flowing Dirang River, Sela pass (13703 ft.) and Jaswant-Garh Chino-Indian war memorial. Upon arrival, check-in at Hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Today, you will visit the famous 350 years old Golden Namgyal Lhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery, founded by Merak Lama Lodge Gyamtso in the year 1680-81 as per the instruction of the Great 5th Dalai Lama. This monastery is an important source of the doctrine of the Gelugpa Sect of the Mahayana Buddhism and it has a connection with the Drepung Monastery of Lhasa. This is also probably the largest Buddhist monastery in India. The main assembly hall wall has various Buddhist murals paintings. The monastery sits atop a ridge, about 10,000 feet above sea level and so it makes a perfect vantage point for panoramic views of the Tawang River Valley with snow-capped mountains towering over and the pine forest.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ani Gompa nunnery near the town. Until recently, it was a tradition that at least one girl per family must join the nunnery but now the rules are relaxed and it's optional. In the afternoon, we visit the 460 years old Urgyelling Monastery - the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. The monastery was built by Lama Urgen Sangpo Bumthang.
Optional: In the evening, we will attend a folk dance cultural program performed by the Monpa tribe people and monks. It's an opportunity to learn about the folklore music and culture of the local tribes.
Today, drive to Jang to enjoy the views of the waterfalls and continue driving and cross 4,150m high Sela Pass, which was once a battleground between Indian and Chinese armies. There are opportunities for photography at every turn and twist of the mind-boggling road. Stop midway to visit the Tipi Orchid Sanctuary. Arrive and check-in at Hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit Buddhist Kalachakra Gompa for its magnificent architecture, this monastery is over 500 years old. It is frequented by those who follow Buddhism as well as others who love the serene atmosphere.
After breakfast, explore the beautiful Sangit valley and trek through the 'Dirang Monpa' Tribal village, where rare Black Necked Cranes come for wintering.
Today, drive to Nameri National Park. Arrive and check-in at Camp (Eco Camp)
The afternoon takes Jungle Safari by Jeep to visit Nameri National Park is the home to the last surviving population of White-winged Wood Duck among other wildlife such as Tiger, Black bear, elephant, leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian wild dog, deer, Civet Cat, Capped Langur, jackals, etc.
Take rest to recover the travel fatigue or visit the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation that preserves and creates awareness about the endangered Pygmy Hog species.
Pygmy Hogs are kept in captive breeding in Guwahati and now they are kept in semi-natural conditions of Nameri before being set free into the park.
Evening enjoy bonfire arrange by the camp
After early morning breakfast, we go for a nature walk accompanied by the experienced naturalist. The park is home to some of the endangered species like a white-winged wood duck, Sloth Bear, Tiger, Clouded Leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, four varieties of Hornbill and many other species of avifauna. However, it's nature and we may not have luck all the time to see all the animals but you will surely enjoy nature and many bird species.
After the visit drive to Kaziranga National Park, arrive and check-in at Hotel.
After an early morning cup of tea or coffee, we will go for an elephant safari that takes us through the tall grass while the morning mists slowly lift, an unforgettable experience. We will return to the resort for breakfast and the next is the first jeep safari to the central zone of the park.
We return to the resort and we will also have some time for rest before we go for our second safari of the day. Afternoon safari brings us to the western zone of the park. Spend some time at the Donga viewpoint, situated in the western zone.
Kaziranga National Park is the home to the world's two-third population Great One Horned Rhinoceros and it's a UNESCO recognized World Heritage Site.
After early breakfast, drive to Guwahati airport to board a flight for Kolkata
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to International airport to board flight back home.
