Often compared to the Great Wall of China, these massive forts of 36km walls is an UNESCO world heritage site. The fort is adorned by several Hindu and Jain Temples of which the giant Shivalinga is of primary importance. Then continue drive to Ranakpur, upon arrival check-in at hotel.
Freshen-up and proceed to visit Ranakpur Jain temple. The exquisite architecture, carvings were built during the reign of the Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The gifted king was tolerant and supported the progress of other communities.There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and domes supported by over four hundred columns. It is a sight one must not miss.
